As a Seattle native, I've been performing from the age of six. I studied Vocal Performance and Accompanying at the esteemed Moores School of Music at the University of Houston and currently sing professionally with the Seattle Opera. I have unparalleled experience crossing over; my performance career began in Gospel and Musical Theatre. In college I also sang in jazz ensembles and was a professional chorister with the Houston Symphony Chorus. I pull on my operatic, gospel, pop, theatre, jazz, and choral experience to cater my teaching to my students' musical interests and needs. My goal is for my students to develop a deep appreciation for music and performing. I pride myself on the fact that all of my students are unique artists who have their own sound and style and am grateful to be a part of developing them on their musical journeys.
