Performance and Competitions

Virtual learning

Music is an ever-evolving art form and I believe that music instruction should evolve with it. I use the most current and effective methods to teach classical, pop, gospel, jazz, musical theatre, country, soul, and r&b styles of singing.

Policies and Schedule

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, lessons have moved to zoom. Virtual lessons have proven to be an effective and efficient way for students to continue progressing and reaching their goals during this difficult time.

believe music is a performance art, so I encourage my students to perform regularly and often. I host a virtual open mic night for my students where they get the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. As a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), I also enter my students in vocal competitions twice a year, where we usually have winners in multiple categories.

Every other month Cody Gouge Music Studio hosts a virtual open mic night at 6pm PST. Our next open mic night is October 14th, come watch our students perform on zoom here.
